#001 - Orchestra
Touch hoops
Function and play value
Three concrete rings — each touch triggers orchestral sounds. Participants hear each other’s playing, creating a unique piece together. Encourages cooperation, listening, and musical exploration.
Sound voice
Each ring has 8 touch sensors and 2 speakers — a total of 24 sensors and 6 speakers in the system. When touched, sounds of familiar orchestral instruments are heard: violin, trumpet, oboe, cello, and more. Each instrument has a wide library of sounds that the system randomly selects, so each touch plays a different sound, creating a fresh encounter with the instrument in every session.
