Periodic maze
Details
A labyrinth of columns marked with periodic table symbols. Sounds of different materials — together forming a unique orchestra. Encourages exploration, discovery, and collaborative play while introducing the connection between science and music.
Sound
Touch sensors and audio system. When touched, recorded sounds of various materials play — iron, water, copper, sand, bubbles, wind, and more. Each material from the periodic table produces its own unique sound, creating a special keyboard with a contemporary musical tone.
Specs
A structure of 316 stainless steel. External cladding of Ductal® UHPC with Protectosil® BHN anti-graffiti and weather protection by Evonik. Sensors protected by colored ceramic tiles integrated into the concrete. Formliner graphic patterns on concrete tiles. Floating floor on leveling columns. Audio sensor system: 24V, IP65 rated.
