A spherical musical keyboard. Move around, play notes from different sides — encouraging free expression, improvisation, and teamwork. Invites exploration of sound from multiple angles, creating a shared musical experience where every position offers a new perspective.
Sound
A system of eight sensors and audio that plays short excerpts from familiar classical works when touched. Each play cycle draws from a database of melodies, allowing for renewed discovery.
Specs
Internal structure of 316 stainless steel. External cladding of Ductal® UHPC with Protectosil® BHN anti-graffiti and weather protection by Evonik. Sensors protected by colored ceramic tiles integrated into the concrete.
Audio sensor system: 24V, IP65 rated.
